Description
In Marrakech, each player is a rug merchant aiming to outmaneuver the competition. Everyone begins with the same amount of money and the same number of carpets.
On your turn, you may rotate Assam 90 degrees. Then roll the die and move him forward the number of spaces shown (die faces: 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4). If Assam reaches the edge of the board, he follows the bend and continues along the next row.
If he lands on another player’s carpet, you must pay that player 1 coin for each connected square of that carpet color. Afterward, place one of your carpets orthogonally adjacent to Assam, without covering another carpet directly.
The game ends once all carpets have been placed. Each player earns 1 coin for every visible square of their carpet. The player with the most coins wins! Tie-breaker: the player with the largest visible carpet area.
